ScrappyScraper is a Chrome extension for extracting structured data from public web pages. It is designed to be privacy-focused and browser-first.
Data processing
ScrappyScraper runs in your browser. Where available, it uses Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano AI model for local AI-assisted interpretation of page content. ScrappyScraper does not send your scraped page data or scraping requests to a ScrappyScraper server.
Data collected by us
ScrappyScraper does not require an account and does not collect scraped page content. If you contact support, we will receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and support request.
Payments
Commercial licenses are sold through Ko-fi. Payment processing and any payment-related personal data are handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers, not by ScrappyScraper.
Chrome permissions
The extension may request browser permissions needed to read the active page, process page content, and export files. These permissions are used to provide scraping and export functionality.
Limitations
ScrappyScraper is intended for public pages and legitimate use. You are responsible for complying with website terms, copyright law, privacy law, and any other rules that apply to the data you scrape.
